Costco: Q4 EPS up 16%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening, Costco Wholesale reported EPS of $4.
86 for Q4 2023-24, from $4.20 a year earlier, noting that Q4 had 17 weeks, compared with 16 weeks in Q4 2022-23. NB: pmt: -2%.

The warehouse chain's sales rose 9.4% to just over $77.4bn, including 3.8% LFL growth and adjusted for the impact of changes in gasoline prices and exchange rates.

For the full year, Costco's EPS reached $14.16, compared with $13.14 in 2022-23, on sales growth of 6.7% to $237.7bn (+5.2% LFL and adjusted for gasoline and exchange rates).
