Sony: EU clears JV with Honda
(CercleFinance.com) - Under EU Merger Regulations the European Commission has cleared the creation of a new joint venture between Sony and Honda.
The joint venture will design, develop, produce, market and sell high-value battery electric vehicles. The Commission concluded that the proposed deal would not give rise to any competition concerns, given the very limited overlaps between the companies' activities in the European Economic Area.
