Linde: closer collaboration with China's Wanhua Chemical

(CercleFinance.com) - Linde announced on Tuesday the signing of a series of contracts with Wanhua Chemical, which will enable it to intensify its cooperation with the Chinese chemical group.


In Fujian province, the industrial gases manufacturer will acquire three air separation units from Wanhua, two of which are currently under construction, with commissioning set for 2024 and 2025.

This transaction will be accompanied by the conclusion of long-term supply agreements, Linde says.

It also states that it has signed long-term industrial gas supply agreements for two other Wanhua sites, located in Ningbo and Yantai, which include decarbonisation measures designed to reduce their CO2 emissions by around 500,000 tonnes a year.
