Somfy: acquisition of Repar'stores

(CercleFinance.com) - On 14 December, Somfy, the maker of controllers and drives for entrance gates, garage doors, etc.
, announced that it had completed the purchase of a majority stake of 60% in Repar'stores, a specialist in the repair and modernisation of roller shutters in France.

For its fiscal year ended 30 June 2020, its sales reached 28.5 million euros, having risen by 21.7% on average over the last two financial years. The group employs over 100 people and has approximately 190 franchisees.

Subject to satisfying the usual conditions precedent, this acquisition should be completed at the beginning of January 2021. The agreement is accompanied by additional promises enabling the acquisition of the remainder of Repar'stores' shares by the end of 2026.
