Somfy: H1 sales down 7.5%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Somfy, the supplier of controllers and drives for gates and doors, announced H1 2020 sales of 568.
9 million, down 7.5% (-7.2% like-for-like) relative to H1 2019.

In detail, sales rose 2.9% in Q1 (+2.8% like-for-like) to 291.3 million euros, and fell 16.4% in Q2 (-15.7% like-for-like) to 277.6 million euros.

The health crisis caused by the Covid pandemic explains the difference seen between the two quarters and thus masks the very good start to the year (+11.1% on a comparable basis at the end of February), the group said.
