Yum! Brands: Q2 EPS up a third

(CercleFinance.com) - Yum! Brands has reported Q2 2023 EPS excluding exceptional items of $1.
41, up 33% y-o-y, with adjusted operating profit up 12%.

The restaurant group, which operates the KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell banners, posted a 13% increase in system sales at constant exchange rates (+9% LFL), in particular driven by a 19% jump at KFC.

Management expects to generate FY 2023 results that are well ahead of its long-term growth algorithm for system sales, along with growth in adjusted operating profit.
