Target: appoints new chief strategy officer to spur growth.

(CercleFinance.com) - Target has appointed Minsok Pak to the post of chief strategy and innovation officer, with the aim of accelerating the US retailer's growth.


In his new role, Pak will oversee the company's business development, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and joint venture initiatives.

After two decades working for the consulting firm McKinsey, he held various leadership roles at LG Electronics and most recently at Lego Retail, the stores and e-commerce unit of Danish toymaker Lego.
