Northrop Grumman: ASPAARO selected by NATO for study
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Defence and Space, Northrop Grumman Corporation and seven industry players forming ASPAARO have been selected by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) to conduct one of three Risk Reduction and Feasibility Studies (RRFS).
The studies aim to propose technical solutions for the Alliance Future Surveillance and Control (AFSC). The results of these studies will help NATO and its allies make decisions on the final technical concept for the AFSC and the procurement of surveillance systems.
The selection of ASPAARO as a study partner is an important step towards replacing the current airborne warning and control system fleet, which will reach the end of its service life around 2035.
