Micron: net loss widens, but sales increase in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening Micron Technology reported a non-GAAP net loss of $1.
05bn for Q1 2023-24, or $0.95 per share, compared with a loss of $39m a year earlier.
The semiconductor manufacturer nonetheless reported sales that rose 15.6% y-o-y to $4.73bn, thanks to cutting-edge technologies and products addressing the growing demand for AI solutions.
For Q2, Micron says it expects a net loss of $0.28 per share, give or take seven cents, and sales of $5.3bn, give or take $200m.
