DR Horton: Q4 EPS down 5%
(CercleFinance.com) - Homebuilder DR Horton has reported net income of $1.
5bn for Q4 2022-23, or $4.45 per share, versus EPS of $4.67 a year earlier, on revenues that rose 9% to $10.5bn.
It says that, despite the continuing rise in mortgage rates and inflationary pressures, its net orders increased by 39%, as the supply of affordable homes remains limited and demographics remain favourable.
DR Horton reports a 20% increase in its quarterly dividend to $0.30 per share, payable on 28 November, and says that it is targeting around $36bn-$37bn in revenues in 2023-24, up from $35.5bn last year.
