Activision Blizzard: streaming agreement with Ubisoft
(CercleFinance.com) - Video games group Ubisoft has announced a deal which grants it the "cloud streaming" rights for Call of Duty and all other Activision Blizzard titles to be released over the next 15 years, once the Activision Blizzard's acqusition by Microsoft has been completed.
These rights will strengthen Ubisoft's content offering through its Ubisoft+ service, and will make it possible to license streaming access to Activision Blizzard's catalog of games to cloud gaming companies, service providers or console manufacturers.
Ubisoft says that its expertise in developing distribution and online services, as well as its commercial relations with streaming providers, will continue to provide players with more choice,
