ASML: falls in wake of quarterly results

(CercleFinance.com) - ASML shares are down 5% in Amsterdam this morning, following the semiconductor industry equipment supplier's publication of Q1 EPS of E3.
11, down 40% sequentially.

The Dutch group's gross margin slipped 0.4 point to 51% on revenues that fell 27% to E5.29bn, while its net order intake collapsed sequentially from E9.19bn to E3.61bn.

ASML forecasts Q2 revenues of E5.7bn and E6.2bn, with a gross margin of between 50% and 51%. Its outlook for 2024 as a whole remains unchanged, with H2 expected to be stronger than H1.
