Boskalis: HAL raises bid

(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch maritime and port infrastructure builder Boskalis Westminster has announced that HAL Holding has raised the unit price of its takeover bid for its shares, as launched on 27 June, from 32 euros to 33 euros.


The offer price therefore now represents a premium of about 32% compared to the pre-announcement closing price. Boskalis' boards unanimously recommend that shareholders tender their shares to the offer.

The acceptance period for the offer has been extended until 5.40 pm CET on 6 September. Boskalis states its intention to cooperate with a post-offer restructuring, if HAL acquires between 85 and 95% of its shares.
