ArcelorMittal: starts building new HQ
(CercleFinance.com) - ArcelorMittal has announced the official start to the construction of its new global headquarters, ArcelorMittal Kirchberg, following a ground-breaking ceremony on June 21 at the Kirchberg site in Luxembourg City.
The location of the new headquarters reflects the steelmaker's historic links with the Grand Duchy, where the company has its head office as well as five industrial sites for steel production or processing.
A showcase for the use of steel in sustainable construction, the building, which will be commissioned in Q1 2026, incorporates 10,000 tonnes of ArcelorMittal steel, mainly produced in Luxembourg from recycled steel.
