Getlink: acquires ChannelPorts

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink announces the acquisition of ChannelPorts, one of the leaders in the UK customs services market.


Founded in 1974 and based in Folkestone in the Kent region of the UK, ChannelPorts employs 44 people and generated sales of around £10m in 2023.

This acquisition is at the heart of transport issues and the need to simplify cross-Channel exchanges, it says.

ChannelPorts carries out - on behalf of its transport, logistics and shipper customers - the customs formalities that have become mandatory since the implementation of Brexit.
