Alstom: collaboration with rail operator TiB

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces that it has signed, via its Stockholm Innovation Station, a memorandum of understanding with Tåg i Bergslagen (TiB), a rail operator in the Bergslagen region of Sweden.


This agreement marks the start of a unique two-year collaboration dedicated to exploring and developing new technologies to transform the rail industry.

By combining our innovation capabilities with the expertise of Tåg i Bergslagen, we can collaboratively develop rail solutions for the future, and contribute to even more sustainable and efficient rail traffic", says Maria Signal Martebo, Managing Director of Alstom in Sweden.

As part of the agreement, Alstom's Innovation Station and TiB have committed to collaborating on the development of solutions in wildlife detection and repulsion, data collection and analysis via AI, and the development of new technologies for the passenger information system.
