Bonduelle: net income plummets in H1

(CercleFinance.com) - Bonduelle has published sales of E1,213m for H1 23/24, down 2.
4% y-o-y.

Operating income before non-recurring items came in at E38.5m (-10.7%), with an operating margin down to 3.2% from 3.5% a year earlier.

Consolidated net income came to E4.5m, down 77.4% on H1 22/23.

The Bonduelle Group, like the rest of the agri-food industry, is operating in a general context of declining consumption, which is weighing on sales volumes, and inflation in production costs, partly offset by limited price increases, it says.

The group nevertheless confirms its sales growth targets of around 5%, with around a 15% LFL increase in operating profit on ordinary activities.
