Ramsay Santé: net income down over 50% to E49.4m

(CercleFinance.com) - Group sales rose by 9.
3% to E4.7bn at 30 June 2023.
Performance benefited from business growth in all regions and by recent acquisitions in the Nordic countries. LFL sales growth was 7.0%.

Consolidated EBITDA fell by 5.6%, or E37m, to E621.4m (versus E658.4m last year), with a margin of 13.2% (vs. 15.3% last year). This decline was mainly due to the E89m reduction in subsidies linked to Covid and the financing guarantee in France, partially offset by new cost control measures.

Net income, group share, came in at E49.4m, or 1.1% of sales, down over 50% on the previous year's figure of E118.4m, due to the contraction in operating profit and an increase in the cost of debt.
