Vicat: Barclays downgrades stock

(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays downgrades its recommendation on Vicat from 'overweight' to 'equal weight', trimming its target price from E42 to E41, in a sector report on European cement makers.


Analysts believe that better pricing power is here to stay, and that there is still much to be done to increase margins as energy costs fall, they say regarding the sector.

Volumes will be moderate, but they think this is less important than in previous cycles, when players are more rational and valuations are attractive, the broker continues, nevertheless prefering Heidelberg Materials and Buzzi.
