Air France-KLM: operating margin improves in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - Air France-KLM reports net income of E0.
9bn for Q3 2023, E0.5bn higher than a year ago, with an operating margin that improved by 2.9 points to 15.5%, driven by strong summer demand.

The airline posted record operating income of E1.34bn on total sales that rose 6.8% to nearly E8.7bn. Capacity stood at 94% of 2019 levels, with a load factor of 90%.

The Franco-Dutch airline is maintaining its outlook for 2023 unchanged, including a capacity in available seat-kilometres for the Air France-KLM network's passenger business (including Transavia) at an index of around 95% of its level in 2019.
