Air France-KLM: code-sharing with Singapore Airlines.

(CercleFinance.com) - Via a statement on Thursday, Air France-KLM reported that it had signed a code-sharing agreement with Singapore Airlines and SilkAir.

In detail, Air France will use its "AF" code on flights operated by Singapore Airlines from Singapore to Melbourne and Sydney (Australia), as well as on flights operated by SilkAir to Kuala Lumpur, Penang (Malaysia) and Phuket Thailand).

In return, Singapore Airlines will offer, under its code "SQ," flights operated by Air France from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to 10 destinations (Aberdeen, Bordeaux, Edinburgh, Lisbon, Lyon, Madrid, Marseilles, Newcastle, Nice and Toulouse).

Air France-KLM and Singapore Airlines will then study the possibility of broadening this code sharing to other companies in their group.
