Siemens Gamesa: signs second order with Enel in Russia

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Gamesa said on Tuesday that it has signed its second deal with Enel in Russia to supply 57 platform turbines to a wind farm in Murmansk.


The wind turbine maker has secured a second order from the independent power producer for the installation of 201 MW of capacity in the Kola farm, with commissioning due in 2021.

The contract includes operation and maintenance services over the first two years, with an option to extend the deal, the group said.

Tha agreement comes two months after a first order - the Azovskaya project with 90 MW capacity - was announced in early October.
