Siemens Energy: investors welcome preliminary results

(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Energy shares were up almost 2% on Monday morning, after its preliminary results largely outpaced the consensus.


The former Siemens subsidiary - which has been listed in Frankfurt since the end of September - said its adjusted EBITA before special items was 366 million euros in the first quarter of fiscal year 2021, over triple the consensus of 119 million euros.

Revenue increased by 2.6% to 6.5 billion euros, it added.

Siemens Energy also confirmed its outlook for fiscal year 2021.

The company said it plans to publish its full earnings release for the first quarter of fiscal year 2021 on 2 February.
