Siemens: inaugurates largest research center in Munich
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens has inaugurated the first Siemens Technology Building (STC) complex on the Garching research campus, north of Munich, Germany.
The Garching research campus is one of the largest science, research and education centers in Europe, and represents a total investment of over E100m. Siemens will consolidate all its research activities in Germany in this center. Initially, around 450 Siemens employees will work on future technologies in collaboration with 150 scientists from the Technical University of Munich.
