Deutsche Post: EU approves joint venture project

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the creation of a joint venture by Deutsche Post International and Poste Italiane.


The operation mainly concerns the postal sector, in particular the development of a network of parcel lockers in Italy for the delivery of small parcels.

The Commission concluded that the notified operation would not raise competition concerns, given that the joint venture has negligible activities in the European Economic Area.
