Bekaert: excellent H1 results expected

(CercleFinance.com) - Based on preliminary estimates, Bekaert says that on 30 July it will publish excellent results for the first half of the year, well above the results of previous periods and the consensus.


Preliminary interim figures show revenues of 2.3 billion euros, up 30% y-o-y, with an underlying EBIT of 285 million euros, triple the level last year.

However, for H2 the Belgian industrial group estimates that its underlying EBIT will be lower than in H1 2021, close to H2 last year.
