Agfa-Gevaert: stock hit by H1 results
(CercleFinance.com) - Agfa-Gevaert shares are down nearly 6% in Brussels, as the imaging solutions group reported a net loss of E81m for H1 2023, compared with a loss of E20m in H1 2022.
However, its adjusted EBITDA margin improved by 0.3 point to 4.8%, on sales growth of 3.3% to E557m, the latter having benefited from currency effects - without which it contracted by 4.7%.
Announcing continued progress in Q2 for its growth drivers in healthcare IT and digital printing, Agfa-Gevaert anticipates a recovery in profitability for FY 2023 compared with 2022.
