OMV: Q3 net income (gs) slumps 43%

(CercleFinance.com) - OMV has announced that its Q3 sales fell by 45% y-o-y to E9.
47bn.

Operating profit reached E1.44bn, down 59%, while net profit was E681m, down 50%.

Net income, group share came in at E474m (down 43%), giving EPS of E1.45 (down 43%).

For 2023, OMV expects the average price of Brent crude to exceed $80 a barrel, compared with the previous estimate of between $75 and $80 a barrel.

Meanwhile, the average price of gas should be around E30/MWh (compared with E54/MWh in 2022).
