Campbell Soup: Q1 EPS down 11%

(CercleFinance.com) - For Q1 2023-24, Campbell Soup has reported adjusted EPS that is down 11% to $0.
91, with adjusted EBIT down 9% to $407m on revenues that slipped 2% to $2.52bn (-1% in organic terms).

The group says that its results were in line with its expectations, as it continues to navigate the current consumer landscape. It has also announced an encouraging start to the major holiday season.

For the current fiscal year, the food group confirms that it is targeting adjusted EPS of $3.09 to $3.15, adjusted EBIT up by between 3% and 5%, and revenue growth of between -0.5% and +1.5% (or 0 to +2% in organic terms).
