Novo Nordisk: planned investments in Denmark

(CercleFinance.com) - Novo Nordisk has announced plans to invest over 42bn Danish kronor (around E5.
5bn) as from 2023 to expand its existing manufacturing facilities in Kalundborg, Denmark.

The investment will create additional capacity across its global value chain, from active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing to packaging, for its current and future products in severe chronic diseases.

The construction projects will be completed progressively from late 2025 to 2029. They are expected to create 800 new jobs in the facilities once construction is complete and they are fully equipped.
