3M: sets targets through to 2023

(CercleFinance.com) - At its capital markets day in St.
Paul, Minnesota, 3M unveiled its targets for the period 2019-2023, including organic sales growth, in local currency, of between 3% and 5%, with EPS growth of between 8% and 11%.

For fiscal year 2019, the conglomerate is aiming for overall sales growth of 1% to 3%, with 2% to 4% organic growth in local currency, with EPS of between 10.60 dollars and 11.05 dollars, up by 7% to 11% in adjusted data.

Next year, 3M plans to invest 2 billion dollars in research and development - about 6% of its sales - while making gross share repurchases of between two billion and four billion dollars.
