Tesla: record vehicle production in June

(CercleFinance.com) - Tesla said on Saturday that it has produced over 258,000 vehicles and delivered more than 254,000 in the second quarter, despite ongoing supply chain challenges and factory closures that are beyond its control.


June 2022 was the highest vehicle production month in Tesla's history, the electric carmaker said, a noteworthy comment that will be viewed positively by the market this Tuesday when the US market opens (yesterday was a holiday), analysts said.

"Tesla is still on pace to increase deliveries roughly 50% year over year in 2022, an impressive feat that speaks to our strong long term EV demand thesis," said the broker, which maintains an "outperform" rating on the stock.
