Procter & Gamble: beats consensus in Q3.

(CercleFinance.com) - Procter & Gamble (P&G) has reported Q3 EPS that is down 4% at 93 cents, although adjusted “Core” EPS is up 12% at 96 cents, two cents above the consensus.

The consumer goods giant, whose portfolio includes brands such as Gillette razors and Pampers nappies, saw sales fall by 1% to 15.6 billion dollars, due to a negative exchange rate effect, without which sales increased by 1% in organic terms.

P&G has confirmed its full-year target organic sales growth of between 2% and 3%, as well as adjusted EPS growth of 5%, relative to EPS of 3.67 dollars the previous year.
