Microsoft: Q4 net income up almost 50%

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Microsoft reported a 47% increase in net income to 16.
5 billion dollars, i.e. EPS of 2.17 dollars, and a 42% increase in operating profit to 19.1 billion dollars for Q4 2020-21.

The Redmond, Washington-based IT giant's revenues rose by 21% to 46.2 billion dollars (+17% excluding FX factors), with commercial cloud revenues up 36% at 19.1 billion dollars.

Therefore, for the full-year, Microsoft's non-GAAP EPS rose 38% to 7.97 dollars on revenues that are up 18% at 168.1 billion dollars (up 15% excluding FX factors).
