Eli Lilly: agreement to buy Nexus plant in US

(CercleFinance.com) - Eli Lilly and Nexus Pharmaceuticals announce that they have entered into a definitive agreement for Eli Lilly to acquire a US manufacturing facility from Nexus, a leading manufacturer of sterile products for the pharmaceutical industry.


The acquisition of this FDA-approved facility, located in Pleasant Prairie (Wisconsin), will further expand Eli Lilly's global manufacturing network for parenteral (injectable) products and support increased demand for the company's medicines.

Eli Lilly says that production at this facility could begin in late 2025.

The group says that it is investing boldly to serve its patients, meeting product demand and building capacity for its robust pipeline of the future.
