Kraft Heinz: acquires Hemmer in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Kraft Heinz announces that it has sealed a deal to acquire Companhia Hemmer Indústria e Comércio, a Brazilian firm specialising in sauces and condiments, headquartered in the State of Santa Catarina.


“This acquisition offers us a valuable opportunity to accelerate our international growth strategy centred around Taste Elevation - our portfolio of high-quality products that enhance the taste of food,” explains the US group.

The success of this deal, the financial terms of which haven't been disclosed, remains subject to regulator approval from the CADE (Brazil's Administrative Council for Economic Defence).
