Caterpillar: best year ever

(CercleFinance.com) - Caterpillar reports Q4 2023 adjusted EPS that is up 35% at $5.
23, with an adjusted operating margin of 18.9%, compared with 17% in Q4 2022.

Revenues for the construction equipment manufacturer reached $17.1bn in Q4, up 3% y-o-y.

Caterpillar posted FY adjusted EPS of $21.21, compared with $13.84 in 2022, on revenues that rose 13% to $67.1bn.

Caterpillar CEO Jim Umpleby says that he is very proud of the strong performance of its global team, which delivered the best year in our 98-year history, with record full-year sales and revenues and record adjusted EPS.

The group remains committed to serving its clients, executing its strategy and investing for long-term profitable growth, the group's CEO added.
