Applied Materials: raises dividend and share buybacks

(CercleFinance.com) - Applied Materials has announced that its board of directors has approved a new 6 billion dollar share repurchase authorization, adding to the previous 3.
2 billion dollars remaining at the end of Q1 of fiscal year 2022.

In addition, the board has approved an 8.3% increase in the quarterly cash dividend to 0.26 dollar per share, marking its fifth consecutive annual increase. The dividend is payable on 16 June to shareholders on record as of 26 May.
