Amazon: AWS inks live TV deal with Hulu.

(CercleFinance.com) - Amazon said on Monday that video website Hulu has chosen Amazon Web Services, its cloud business, as a provider for a new, over-the-top (OTT) live TV service.


The online retail giant said Hulu has turned to AWS for an infrastructure that will support the addition of over 50 live channels with launch in May 2017.

Media companies and broadcasters suchs as Netflix, SoundCloud, Spotify are already running their media supply chains on AWS.

Amazon.com also announced that FICO has selected AWS as its cloud provider, with the Silicon Valley-based data science company migrating several core applications, including its flagship analytics platform.
