Alphabet: Google has new office and data center plans

(CercleFinance.com) - Alphabet's Google will invest over 10 billion dollars in offices and data centers across the United States in 2020, CEO Sundar Pichai said on Wednesday.

The Internet giant - which has a presence in 26 states across the US - said its new investments will be focused on 11 of them, including Colorado, Georgia, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New York, and California.

Last year Google made an investment of 13 billion dollars in States such as South Carolina and Nevada.

Combined with other R&D investments, this has made Google's parent company Alphabet the largest investor in the US, according to a report from the Progressive Policy Institute.
