AT&T: three more U.S. cities to get 5G coverage this year

(CercleFinance.com) - AT&T is expanding its 5G mobile technology to cover three new cities in 2018, the U.
S. phone operator said on Friday.

The carrier plans to begin introducing mobile 5G to customers in Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C. and Oklahoma City, joining other cities such as Dallas, Atlanta, and Waco.

In total, AT&T plans to offer 5G in a dozen cities this year.

The group has already been conducting 5G trials in South Bend, Indiana; Waco, Texas; Austin, Texas; and Kalamazoo, Michigan.
