Norsk Hydro: victim of a cyberattack

(CercleFinance.com) - Norwegian aluminium producer Norsk Hydro said on Tuesday that it had been the victim of a cyberattack, which has impacted operations in a number of the company's business areas.


IT systems in most business areas have been impacted, the company said, which is switching to manual operations as far as possible.

"Hydro is working to contain and neutralize the attack, but does not yet know the full extent of the situation," it added.

At 4PM, the company's websites still couldn't be accessed.
