Ahold Delhaize: progress in share repurchase program.

(CercleFinance.com) - Ahold Delhaize has said that last week it bought back 1.
62 million of its own shares, under its one billion euro share repurchase program announced last December.

The Dutch based food retailer bought back its shares at an average price of 16.82 euros each, meaning a total layout of 27.3 million euros.

To date, it has bought back a total of 38.7 million shares for a total of 729 million euros.
