Altice: agreement for acquisition of Media Capital.

(CercleFinance.com) - Altice has announced a final agreement with Promotora de Informaciones (Prisa) to acquire 94.
7% of the capital of Media Capital SGPS, a Portuguese media group with audiences in radio and television, as well as the content producer Plural.

This company's acquisition, which generated 174 million euros in revenue and EBITDA of 41.5 million euros in 2016, matches Altice's strategy of global convergence.

It values Media Capital at 440 million euros, subject to adjustments, and should be immediately accretive on Altice's free cash flow. It is subject to the usual conditions, including go-aheads from Prisa's shareholders and the regulatory authorities.
