Euronext: strategic investment in Algomi.

(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has announced an expansion of its joint venture, a 10 million dollar investment and the taking of a minority stake in Algomi, a technology provider for fixed income markets.


This strategic investment will enable corporate bond brokers to access Algomi's innovative bond information network on a global basis and exchange risk more efficiently by identifying the most appropriate counterparty.

As part of this partnership, the Pan-European stockmarket group has announced the appointment of Paul Humphrey, its head of fixed income, interest and exchange rates, as a member of Algomi's board of directors.
