Airbus: Virgin Atlantic orders 14 A330-900
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces a new order of A330neo from Virgin Atlantic for the renewal and expansion of its fleet.
The order covers 14 A330-900s to replace its A330ceos as from 2021, with options for new orders. The firm order for eight aircraft and six others leased to Air Lease Corporation was signed this morning at the Paris Air Show. The A330neo family is the next generation of A330 planes, consisting of two versions: the A330-800 and the A330-900. These aircraft reduce fuel consumption by approximately 25% per seat compared to previous generation aircraft.
