Aperam: Moody's raises its credit rating.

(CercleFinance.com) - Aperam announces today that its Long Term Issuer rating has been upgraded to Investment Grade by Moody's, in recognition of its sustainable financial performance.
Aperam's Long Term Issuer rating by Moody's is now at Baa3, with stable outlook.

The agency justifies its upgrade, largely due to the group's strong operational performance, the robust generation of cash flows and efforts in terms of debt reduction over the past three years.

Timoteo Di Maulo, CEO of the steelmaker that results from a spin-off from ArcelorMittal said that this improvement reflects the recognition of our ongoing efforts to make Aperam an even stronger company.
