Generali: finalises takeover of Sycomore

(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday evening, the Italian insurer Generali announced finalising its takeover of the French asset manager Sycomore AM, after obtaining the necessary authorisations.


The operation was announced last September.

Generali expects substantial synergies in terms of revenue by teaming up with Sycomore, which is a leading player in ESG/RSI investment in France. As such, Generali will be able to enrich its offer, it said in a statement. It will also accelerate Sycomore's international expansion.
