Vodafone: appoints ex-Telstra CEO as non-executive director
(CercleFinance.com) - Britain's telecom giant Vodafone appointed David Thodey to its board as a non-executive director, with effect from 1 September.
Thodey joins after spending 12 years at Telstra, Australia's biggest telco operator, including six years as CEO. Prior to this, Thodey spent 22 years at IBM, holding positions in marketing and sales across Asia Pacific, including CEO of IBM Australia. He holds 42,000 ordinary shares in Vodafone, the group said.
