easyJet: to deploy Airbus predictive maintenance services

(CercleFinance.com) - easyJet has signed a five-year agreement with Airbus to provide predictive maintenance services for its fleet of almost 300, the planemaker said on Tuesday.


The technology that Airbus' data platform relies on will help easyJet's engineers to take early action and replace parts before they wear out, the company said.

The new equipment is expected to be deployed on easyJet's fleet by the summer of 2019.

easyJet said data and artificial intelligence can help improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
